when we looked down the cliff, we saw this strange kind of a rainbow. it formed in an almost full circle shape around the shadow of the little peak.

finally i found the time to sort and share some of the pictures of my recent trip to iceland. we had some amazing 16.5 days on the island. we saw a lot but, as it is, the list of places we couldn't see only grew.

this shot is from day three. we were in the westfjords and the whole day was cloudy throughout with barely 100 meters of sight. as we looked back driving down the road south we saw a part of a mountain stick out through a hole in the clouds and we decided to hike up there to see what's behind. what we found was a spectacular view over the cloud cover. suddenly the sun was shining warm on our skin and we saw mountaintops in every direction. sometimes you just gotta give it a try, i guess.
