This shot is a bit of a departure from my normal "realism" kind of landscapes. I had toyed with HDR and tone mapping before, but wasn't fond of "pushing" the toning and saturation. But this image wasn't giving me the drama I wanted with normal processing - what with a pretty mundane sunrise and all - so I tried this method and sorta liked the result...

Another explosive hit on Flatrock's Beamer yesterday. As a scale reference, that notch in the rock right centre is probably over 10 feet high... maybe 20, even. People have been seen rapelling down this face.
