I lived 23 years not far from the "rose house" on Butte Montmartre, the impressionists painted it many times. At their time it was still a village, a cheap one, not part of Paris. When i arrived, it was still the cheapest part. Now it become "in" for the last years, especially after Dalida and other artists lived there.

J'y habité vingt ans dans le temps, pas loin de là. J'y rêve encore. J'y retourne toujours avec nostalgie sur la Butte Montmartre. Un des coins paint des impressionistes, il y a plus de cent ans.
