Looks like he even got some sand and a clam mixed in with the smelt. At 20fps, I get one or two frames with their mouth open as compared with 10-12 fps of the DSLRs. where I was lucky to get one.

Cormorants are the greatest fish catchers, and pelicans are pretty good thieves and very aggressive, as this cormorant found out. They just want the fish and if the cormorants in the way so be it. Click L to enlarge
