Tornavacas es un municipio español de la provincia de Cáceres - Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura - Situado en la cabecera del Valle del Jerte. Aquí nace el río Jerte que da nombre al valle, haciendo límite con la provincia de Ávila. Desde la ubicación de mi captura, el valle se va abriendo, en un recorrrido de más de treinta kilometros, recorridos por el Jerte. Este rio se va surtiendo del agua que corre por las gargantas existentes en las laderas a un lado y otro de sus orillas...A mi espalda el límite con la provincia de Ávila, una vez se sube el Puerto de Tornavacas de 1275 metros de altitud, una carretera entre robles, castaños y cerezos de bellísimo recorrido.

Tornavacas is a Spanish municipality in the province of Cáceres - Autonomous Community of Extremadura - Located at the head of the Valle del Jerte. Here the Jerte river is born, which gives its name to the valley, bordering the province of Ávila. From the location of my capture, the valley it s opening, in a journey of more than thirty kilometers, traveled by the Jerte. This river is supplied by the water that runs through the existing gorges on the slopes on one side and the other of its banks... Behind me the limit with the province of Ávila, marked for the Puerto de Tornavacas of 1275 meters of altitude, a road between oaks, chestnut trees and cherry trees with a wonderful route.
