I thought of the Eagles as I saw this truck on a parallel road. At first, it looked like the yellow beauty was runnin’ down the road on its own...then I realized it was being towed. Maybe headed to a car show; maybe on the way home. Anyway, it added quite a spark to an otherwise ordinary little trip.

“That’s Miss Pearl,” said her owner, pointing to the old truck. He and his wife are also the owners of a fantastic roadside attraction known as Gay Parita. It’s right on Route 66 in Paris Springs, Missouri, and is a fantastic and friendly place to visit!
