The LEGO MR 20 Class is finally complete. 😌 Decals, new motor, sounds and lights are all up. It has been a long time coming but am so pleased with how the model looks and runs.
Train runs on TrixBrix's Narrow Gauge (4-studs wide) tracks.
The toughest part hands down was the decals.. more specifically the lettering on the side which says Keretapi Tanah Melayu which translates to Malayan Railways in english.
My decal shop had each letter made separately which means I had to meticulously place them along the body. The nose stripes were finicky to handle but sticks on perfectly.
The locomotive is controlled by a PFx brick and powered by 1x PF L-Motor. The sound profile was made using sounds from BR Class 31s as they both shared the same engine, EE12SVT.
