One of a kind, custom-made, aero-tubing Cannondale Track made for the indomitable Mario Cipollini circa 1999. Serial number: "CIPOL". Most of the "track" frames built for him used traditional round tubes and were ridden on the road in the off-season to improve pedal stroke and efficiency. Most of the round tube track frames still had mounts for a rear brake and water bottles. This aero track frame saw actual use on the track, since it was built without brake or water bottle mounts and it boasts sponsor decals (including Campagnono which was unusual for Saeco). The frame was designed in the CAD software Pro Engineer in Bethel, CT and then the tubes were laser cut to Cipollini's specific geometry at the Cannondale factory in Bedford, PA. The frame was then welded, heat treated, and painted in that same facility. A true piece of historic American craftsmanship and Italian racing history. Go Team Saeco!

Takhion Super Sport racing bicycle (1986-Kharkov, Ukraine, USSR) Takhion was a special make of bicycle from Kharkov, Ukraine, in former-USSR. Named for tachyon, (Physics) a hypothetical subatomic particle that always travels faster than speed of light. Developed by Central Design & Technology Agency, Bike Building, or CDTA BB from 1981 to 1992, nearly 400 custom bicycles were produced. Takhion supplied cycling teams of Republics Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Kirghizia. Several USSR National Championships, and at least one World Championship, have been won on Takhion. ЦКТБ ВЕЛО (Central Bicycle Design and Production Bureau that created and developed Takhion) consisted of three people: Redginald Vorontsov, Valeriy Selin and Ludmila Ostroverh.

Москва 80 framesets were built in 1978-1979 for Soviet cyclists for the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. Built by Reginald Vorontsov who later designed and built Takhion frames. There were 52 Москва-80 frames built including both track and road varieties. Built with Ishiwata 019 tubing.
