I just returned from a 16 day road trip with my girlfriend to east coast Canada. We travelled there through Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec...arriving in New Brunswick and heading to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. On our return we travelled by way of USA through Maine, New Hampshire...staying a few days in Vermont and back to Ontario through New York. It was an amazing 16 days with many photos to come!
I know I have not commented on photos lately...I apologize for that! I hope to find the time over the next while to catch up and take time to enjoy the inspiring photography of my fellow contacts and friends.
This shot was taken in Shediac, New Brunswick. After three days of travel we truly felt like this was the beginning of our road trip. The late evening sunset and first lighthouse of our journey was inspirational and set the tone for the rest of our memorable road trip!! Shediac, New Brunswick calls itself the Lobster capital of the world!

This is the lighthouse at the wharf in Shediac, New Brunswick. I actually processed this in black and white as well...but just couldn't give up the colour of the sky against the silhouette. I might post the bw conversion later.

This is Laverty Falls which is at the end of the Laverty Falls Trail (5 miles there and back) in Fundy National Park in New Brunswick. This steep trail which is full of tree routes and boggy areas is considered a moderate hike...lol! It was about 1 1/2 hour hike, but well worth it...even carrying my tripod and camera accessories (including ND 8 filter) which I carried through the water and over slippery rocks to get a good shot. It was worth it! It was a great little spot where people were swimming and just enjoying the moment!!
