How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before it’s afternoon. December is here before it’s June. My goodness, how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?

One from the archives. I took this in Squamish in August. There's always so much to photograph there. Can hardly wait to go back!

If I were a seagull
I wouldn't have to stick around
If people argued- I would fly off,
swerve, wheel, dip, scream.
a thousand wings of company if I have friends, and
two strong wings of my own
If I don't.
― Caroline B. Cooney
I took this one the same time as I took "Ships Passing" on December 10, except that was a long exposure. As there were so many gulls flying around, I wanted a faster exposure shot as well. People fish off this dock, and so often there are 100's of seagulls around.
Zoom in to take a look around :)

Of course I have my head in the clouds, for without that kind of perspective there’s no reason to have your feet on the ground.

I took this at Deer Lake in Burnaby. To me, the clouds look as though they have heads and are meeting each other behind the buildings. I know, I have a strange imagination :)
Happy Monday!

I think many of us know the feeling :)
Many people find rotting wood and falling apart fences ugly, but I see beauty in them. We fall apart as we age, but there is beauty in that aging and I've learned to appreciate it.
