I got a new wide angle lens for Christmas and wanted to practice using it, never having had one before. Yesterday was a bleak, cold day but we went for a walk at Ambleside Park along ithe waterfront in West Vancouver, with a view of Lions Gate Bridge, that joins Vancouver to North Vancouver and West Vancouver.

The lovely 10 other Flickr friends that I spent 11 days with last June will recognize this bridge, as we passed over it several times back and forth :)

This is the Fraser River in Fort Langley, taken a few evenings ago, in the same place as the Silence image I posted last week.
