38:52 Take the greatest picture you can of that in which you truly believe.
Okay, I can't claim that this is the greatest photo I can take, and what I truly believe in is love. But, being out in nature makes me feel all the things that I believe in and fills my soul with peace, love and light.
We're back from exploring around the Olympic Peninsula and saw so many spectacular places, this being one of them. It is Cape Flattery, the most northwestern point of Washington State.
It will take me awhile to catch up with all of you, so please have patience with me. I had a great time away and am happy to be back - I've missed all of you :)

There comes a time when nothing is meaningful except surrendering to love.

Some of you asked how the wedding went that I photographed a short time ago. It was so much fun and exceeded my expectations. I hope to be able to post a few photos from the wedding, with their permission, once I've delivered the finished images to the bride and groom on the weekend.
This was taken at Fort Casey State Park in Washington State last week.

There are three beaches just south of La Push, (and near Forks, which is where the Twilight series was made), which is near the most western point of the Olympic Peninsula....First, Second, and Third Beach. This was taken at Second Beach. There is a short hike through the forest to get to this beautiful spot.

The fog was just lifting at Third Beach, near La Push, WA, when we arrived. It reminded me of the Oregon Coast, with all the sea stacks in the water.

If I ever stop challenging myself, then I am getting lazy and comfortable and I am no longer growing. I hope to use life's challenges as stepping stones to ever greater things.
