It's been a long one, but I feel I am finally on the road to recovery. I am starting to feel more energy and can see the light at the end. That makes me happy!
I hope to be able to catch up with all of you in the next few days.
I took this shot somewhere on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State last autumn. The fog was just lifting as we walked along this pathway with a steep cliff on one side going down to the ocean. It was off the beaten track and definitely a road less travelled...there was no one else around.
HFF!

When in Port Townsend, we went to Ford Worden State Park. I saw this woman standing beside the road painting the scene in front of her. I asked if I could photograph her while working, and she agreed, and went right back to her canvas.
I'm behind on commenting as I've been offline for four days, but will do my best to catch up today and tomorrow :)

The fog was just lifting at Third Beach, near La Push, WA, when we arrived. It reminded me of the Oregon Coast, with all the sea stacks in the water.

It's been raining for so long now, and this morning the sun came out. So we took a little day trip to Washington and found this little gem of a park - Whatcom Falls. I took some photos of the falls as well, but the bridge was what really caught my eye. It was such a magical place with the autumn leaves flowing through the water and the ferns growing out of the bridge.

There are three beaches just south of La Push, (and near Forks, which is where the Twilight series was made), which is near the most western point of the Olympic Peninsula....First, Second, and Third Beach. This was taken at Second Beach. There is a short hike through the forest to get to this beautiful spot.
