I've been off Flickr for a month now...first for the holidays, then I got sick, and then we went away for a week to stay with family. I've missed you all and look forward to seeing your latest images and getting connected again. Please be patient with me while I try to get to all of your streams :)
I took this at Spiral Beach in Victoria, BC.

You'd be so lean, that blast of January
Would blow you through and through.
Now, my fair'st friend,
I would I had some flowers o' the spring that might
Become your time of day.

People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, 'Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.' I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.

This is another shot from one of the concerts up on the mountain. I was standing on the suspension bridge (no hands!) to get this shot as the evening sun was lighting up the wire rails, and people on the deck became silhouettes.

Bursts of gold on lavender melting into saffron. It's the time of day when the sky looks like it has been spray-painted by a graffiti artist.

I had a very busy time away visiting family, and didn't have time to get my camera out till the end, but got a couple of shots on the ferry going home in the evening. Things are still busy so I'm guessing I'm going to be off and on for a bit.
I will do my best to get to your most recent images :) Missed you!
