1:52 - Joy
This is my two year old granddaughter, Lucille. She fills my heart with joy, with those twinkling eyes and mischievous smile. Every time I see her, she has changed, learning new things constantly and wants to know everything. And when she sees me, she smiles, runs to me and gives me a big hug - what's not to love? She's such a happy little girl :)

How did I escape? With difficulty. How did I plan this moment? With pleasure.

6:52 - Sky and clouds
I am not a morning person, so I've never captured a sunrise before. But when I went to visit Flickr friends in Alberta last October, I had to get up early (for me, anyway) so that I could get a ride to the airport, to come back home. This was taken from Tracey's (www.flickr.com/photos/traceyanddan balcony first thing in the morning. It was a sight to behold! I don't feel I captured the true beauty of it, but here it is anyway...

7:52 Shadows
I originally posted this one privately to our weekly theme challenge group, but several of the members suggested I post it publicly, so here it is.... very different from anything I've ever done before.
I had a hard time with this one...I had the idea in my head but couldn't quite execute it the way I wanted to. And of course, it was my husband to the rescue again - in the shape of his hand :)
I used a tripod so the camera wouldn't shake with the slower shutter in the dark room. I turned off all the lights and closed the doors and just used a phone flashlight behind his hand, which he is holding with his other hand.
Those of you who have already seen this and commented, please ignore :)
