I haven't gone out shooting for awhile, but on Thursday, gave my head a shake and forced myself out. I went to Ambleside Beach and even brought my tripod. There was a freighter heading out so you can see it as a blur here. I was there about 40 minutes before I was so frozen, I couldn't feel my hands or feet. Time for some Valleret photographic gloves, which I've now ordered. Has anyone used them? I'm hoping they will do the trick.

I've been offline again and won't be able to catch up with all your images, sorry, but will do my best to comment on your latest ones.

I can hear your whisper and distant mutter. I can smell your damp on the breeze and in the sky I see the halo of your violence. Storm I know you are coming.

We had a heat wave for about 10 days, and then on Wednesday, I woke up to rain, wind and 15C cooler, so I put my rain gear on and headed to the beach. Unfortunately, the rain stopped while I was there, but the wind was still powerful enough to blow my hat off. While I was shooting this scene, I was lucky to see these four people running to the end of "whatever this is that was jutting into the ocean" :)

That might sound like an oxymoron, but I do enjoy being out in days like this. I took this one the same rainy day as the beach shot with the umbrellas. I was, in my mind, willing the man to go stand on the pier, and sure enough, he did.
I was out shooting all day yesterday, for the first time in ages, so wasn't online. Sorry if I've missed some of your images, but I will try to catch up to today's feed.
Can a pier be considered a fence? I'm saying it is :)
Happy Fence Friday!
