Going to the woods is going home, for I suppose we came from the woods originally.
~ John Muir

This is from last year at this time, in the same place as my previously posted Enchanted Forest. The title relates to how I feel when I see light in the forest, like I should bow.

We've had foggy weather for days now, and I got out shooting three of those days.
I took this one several days ago in West Vancouver. We were heading to a new trestle bridge that we hadn't been to yet, and these seemed like welcoming rays.
You'll be seeing a lot of foggy images here in the next while :)

I went to Mosquito Creek to try to do some long exposures last week. Luckily I wore my rubber boots because I ended up wading in the water and set up my tripod and camera in the water, and nothing fell over! (including me) The bridge you see in the background is the highway. Amazing so much beauty underneath all those cars rushing by. But with the rush of the water, you can't hear the traffic. I spent some very peaceful time there alone.

I will be posting some closer images of the rocks and water at another time.

Autumn leaves don't fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this, their only chance to soar.
