Two small but interesting emission nebulae in Auriga: on the left is SH2-234, the Spider nebula and on the right is SH2-237, the Fly nebula, surrounded by clouds of dust and gas.
This image is an HαRGB integration of approx 7 hours of data in each of the 4 channels. The camera was a QHY163M and the scope was a William Optics FLT110 with Optolong RGB filters and an Antlia Hα filter. All post-processing was done in PixInsight.

The Cave Nebula, #155 in the Sharpless catalog, in the northern constellation of Cepheus.
This image is an integration of data captured on a QHY163M camera with a William Optics FLT110 telescope using Ha and RGB filters. Post-processing was carried out in PixInsight.

A famous nebula in the constellation of Auriga, the Flaming Star nebula is thought to be generated by a shock wave created by the rapid motion of the central star AE Aurigae through the interstellar medium. The shock wave compresses and ionises the hydrogen gas, resulting in the characteristic red emission of hydrogen alpha while the light of AE Aurigae is reflected blue from the gas and dust.
This image is an HαRGB integration of 14 hours of Hα data and 4 hours in each of R,G and B taken with a QHY163M camera on a William Optics FLT110 telescope. All post-processing was carried out in PixInsight.

The Medusa nebula, Abell 21, is a large planetary nebula in Gemini.
This image is a blend of 8 hours of data taken with an Ha filter, 5 with an Oiii filter and another 5 with Sii. The stars are from an RGB image with 2 hours in each channel. I used a William Optics FLT110 telescope with Flat4, a QHY 163M camera, Antlia NB filters and Optolong RGB filters. All post-processing was done in PixInsight.
