Oshún is an orisha in Yoruba mythology who rules over love, rivers, health, diplomacy, and fertility. She is also venerated in Afro-American religions of African origin. Her name comes from the "Osun River," which flows through Yorubaland (present-day Nigeria). Yoruba mythology and spirituality portray Oshún as the one responsible for cosmological forces, harmony, attraction, and, above all, the forces of water; furthermore, she is omnipresent and omnipotent. According to ancient tradition, Oshún was the only woman sent by God to create the world, which is why she is known as "the sweet Mother of us all."

Another image from the Northumberland Coast, and a location that has been shot many times before (for good reason)
Dunstanburgh Castle and the surrounding coast, I think most people who shoot this genre must have seen images from here at some point and probably have a goiod idea of what they usually look like so I wanted to try and create something a wee bit different with my own stamp on it.
We had shot it with the receding tide in this morning and I had managed to get into a somewhat precarious spot that was like an ice rink to get to, amazing with no falling over for once. whilst I was there I kind of had my eye on this scene as a possibility but it meant either retracing my steps back over the ice rink, and round onto another one, or, dropping off the ledge I was on and wading through the sea to pop out over here, I opted for the latter option and as the tide was going out I wasn't going to get trapped there so I could be really careful, and take my time setting up.
This is the one resulting image from that spot with a somewhat different perpective on the scene, I was trying ti be mindful not to let the Castle get lost in the overall scene.
Getting back to the relative safety of the sandy shoreline was a very slow affair and extremely painful on the feet but hopefully worth it, I'm not sure if I would have done this if I was on my own as one fall and you could be in real trouble if nobody else was around.
