After having many ideas for a long time I settled for quite an unoriginal idea: a small work shed for my steam engines. The idea is to keep it small, yet make it work for my BR 56.20 and similarly sized engines. The starting point is two 48×48 baseplates, but in order to be able to shunt it would 3/4 more, but that will come later. Once those are added, the mainline will be built and finally I want to expand all this with a small harbor... one day. We will see!

Yes! An update on my WIP Sea King sh-3 helicopter. I really wanted to know what you would think of it so far and I just thought it would be fun to upload.

Sad thing my camera sucks and it looks way shorter than it is IRL.

So far I am pretty happy with it. The landing gear pylons are definitely not the final versions. Next to this I am missing a lot of pieces in dark bley so I'll need to buy those unfortunately. It will have some yellow at the tail as well and I need to recolor some pieces (for example the white one)

Anyways, I like the shaping so far and the look t has. Let me know what you think down in the comments below and as always, faves and comments are really appreciated. Enjoy!

The first two 48x48 baseplates are turning out pretty neat so far. Still a lot of work to do as not everything is tiled and the locomotive shed is still nowhere near being done. I did however, decide on a style. Rather than having a brickbuilt building I wanted something different. I chose the Busch 1423 model kit as a reference. It is based on lokschuppen Schönheide built in 1893, which in reality is for a smallspurbahn. So, I am taking a lot of creative liberties here just like the designers of the kit.

Overall this makes building the walls a lot of fun, but also a lot of work and progress is slow...

Today I realized I never posted a more clear photo of my winter diorama, so here we are! It was a proof of concept for a layout, although in winter. In the photos I uploaded, I want to show my BR 91. It was built in 1:40/1:43ish scale, but I after an event in Rijswijk, I came to the inclusion it would be nicer to build in 1:45. I liked it, but it was too tall.

Also shown is my only car, I removed the sliding door in the end in favor of width and accuracy, but I still have this one!

Enjoy these photos! The builds are no longer with me, since I am working on a new layout as you all know.

Soldiers are preparing for a mission in africa.

Yess, so I thought my uh-1n needed an update and so I gave it one. Really wanted to make the roof like this for a while and I wasn't happy with the engine area. Also re-added the camo, because it gives the helo a nice touch and without camo it doesn't look that interesting.
The huey fits 6 guys (7 when doing waaayyy to difficult stuff (removing the roof and stuff)). The doors slide. The model is still based on Aleksander Stein's heuys and @mike psiaki's huey breakdown (gotta love those choppers!)
Let me know what you think in the comments! Feedback is always appreciated :)

Also breakdown of the tank is coming, didn't have time to make it because of my study.
Enjoy!
