So I was just working on this and decided to upload a photo, just to show progress on a new aircraft. It's based on the A-4 which is on the USS Midway for display right now.
I am really happy so far with this and it only needs a few pieces in different colors and I want to make the horizontal stabilizers smoother. So it's still kind of a WIP.
Much, much, much credits to Ralph Savelsberg's and his Skyhawks for inspiration and some techniques. Check out his Flickr page if you didn't already!
Also, the forklift was just a fun build and a work in progress too.
And yes! 308 followers! I really appreciate the support, thank you all!

So what do you think? I wanted ti take my A-6 a step further and make it into an EA-6B prowler. I will probably make it completely grey with some black accents.
The A-4 is 2 studs longer than it was before and I am working on the intakes.
Plans for the future are rebuilding my A-7 corsair and building a S-3 Viking. I decided to redo everything, so my F-4 and the S-2 are both gone (for now).

Ps. I will replace the black intakes of the A-4 with red ones.

On this version I angled the intakes a little bit, which is pretty caracteristic for the Skyhawk. This is my favorite view of the model.

The model has a couple of working features, like retracting landing gear, flaps and leading edges and it fits a minifig.
In comparison with my earlier versions this one is a little bit longer, which makes it more realistic. Next to this I used a technique from Evan's F-4 Phantom to make the tail look smoother.

Recently I realised I never posted a picture of my latest version of my Skyhawk and since I haven't finished much I decided to upload some photos of it. It is one of my favorite aircraft that I've built so far. Of course, I took some techniques and inspiration from Ralph's model.
Right now I am working on a F-8 Crusader, it's almost finished, so I'll probably post photos of it in about two weeks.
