The JDG wanted a platform that could be modified for multiple purposes and immediately saw the potential in the Dragoon VI. The Dragon 2E is shorter and therefor lighter, but is less protected.

The standard version of the Dragon is used for recon, security, transport, and can serve as a command post. It has a crew of two (one driver, one). gunner). Armed with a remote controlled 240B, the vehicle can protect itself from infantry. The JDG found that the vehicle is very usefull in more open environments.

The KMW/Hägglunds Dragon platform is based on the KMW/Hägglunds Dragoon VI and designed for the needs of the JDG to have an Armored Personnel Vehicle. The vehicle is designed to be highly modifiable for a wide range of different tasks. Tasks are including recon, security, medial transport, command vehicle, mortar carrier and a lot more.

So here is my next build, based on the Dragoon VI APV built by Aleksander Stein. I also took some inspiration from some other builders, but I don't remember who exactly. The remote weapons system on the standard version(left) is built by Christian Cowgill, who also provided me with those very neat Brickarms 240B's in dark tan(!).
Both models have steering/suspension and can fit 2-4 minifigs depending on the version. Photos of the Mortar Carrier(right) will come later this week!
