Since I built my G6 engine, I immediately wanted to include more detail and change some things to make it easier to change batteries and turn it on and off. So this is the result of a huge redesign, which, in my opinion, looks much better than the previous version.

It still fits a minifig in the cabin and I even have some space left in the middle for more details, where two panels can be opened (one on each side).

--Update--
It's been super long since I uploaded something. It's not that I haven't built anything, it's more that I feel like Flickr demands more professional photos than other platforms. This is why I like Instagram a bit better, since it's easier (although the rest of Flickr is way better IMO).

I am really enjoying building the train stuff and looking for inspiration, so I'll definetely continue to build in this genre. Maybe I'll even start a complete city lay-out, which is the ultimate goal...

Anyway, I will not stop building military stuff. I do have some builds, like a Dutch F-16 (inspired by some other MOCs), F-15(WIP) and much more. So maybe I'll post some photos of those too!

My first Lego train ever!

I have been working on this for a while and started experimenting with the Lego Powered Up system. This is the first train I have ever built, bringing my interest in scale model trains (of which I own a couple) into my Lego hobby.

The locomotive is based on the real world Vossloh G6 model, although colored in an imagined color scheme. The model runs fairly smooth using Trixbrix tracks, while slowing a bit down in normal Lego curved tracks.

I am currently working on updating it a bit, changing it visually here and there, making it run smoother and also making it easier to turn it on and change batteries.

Something completely differen from my usual military stuff! Let me know what you think and as always, faves and comments are always appreciated!

I placed the Powered up unit upside down, which allowed me to keep the cable at the bottem of the model. This also makes turning it on and off a lot easier, since the button is now on the underside of the model.
