Hans Tisdall, 1910-1997. Sculptural Modernist Mosaic Art, originally on the Faraday Building at the University, but was moved here when the Farady was demolished. The mosaics represent the four elements of the Alchemists Arts: Earth Air, Water and Fire. Kaleidsocopy by Barnsley Victor.

Roger Moore? The Northern Quarter, and Ancoats has some of Manchester's finest artworks on its walls and free to view. There is a great walk to be had around this area. I would not describe it as salubrious, but on a dry day, it's well worth the effort. There is a massive spectrum of watering holes to boot. At 70 years old, I feel slightly out of my depth there, but I must admit it's an education.
