The foundation stone was laid for Watervale Hall on 24 Aug 1869 and the Hall was officially opened on 18 Jan 1870.

In 1886 the Lodge became a Friendly Society.

A corrugated iron porch was added to the hall allowing the hall to be used as a cinema at the beginning of WW2. This has since been removed.

Watervale Hall was heritage listed in 1983. State Heritage ID: 12629.

Watervale Hall was used as a Community Hall until 2010 when it was sold to a private owner and operated as an antique furniture shop.

The hall was sold privately again in 2018 and it is intended to be retained for private use only.
