These non-native wildflowers are all over the place- here on the Mendocino Coast and at home in Mt. Shasta. The nice foggy mornings make them much easier to photograph here.

These large beauties (Amaryllis belladonna, locally known as naked ladies) are native to South Africa but very common along the California coast in late summer. They remind me of long ago Labor Day weekend bicycle trips down our incredible coastline.
