We had heard that there were a pair of Trumpeter Finch that had been seen in the Sierra de las Moreras, around an hour and a half drive away, so we decided to have a trip down to see if we could spot them. After a wait of two hours this one finally showed very briefly. Not as close as I would have liked and not the best angle as I was pointing upwards but happy to get a shot as it is a lifer for me.

We decided to take another one and a half hour drive to Sierra de las Moreras to see if we could get a better shot of the Trumpeter Finches. This male came a little closer.
