A Swallow Prominent moth - one of the twelve different species of moth that I have managed to identify from my first night of testing out my home-made moth light trap in my garden. There must have been fifty moths in my trap (the most numerous were about 20 Large Yellow Underwings) but some of them were tiny micro moths that I struggled to identify.

Forewing length 20-30mm.
Seen April-August.

Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment or fave my images.
