New York always seems to go a bit faster. This was right at the corner of Central Park South. I couldn't help taking a picture of these two guys, going down 5th Avenue on skate, zigzagging between cars like they were surfing the biggest waves in Hawaii. Completely oblivious to the world.
I was going to cross the street towards Central Park when this two skaters passed zipped by. No time to think. I panned and zoomed out at the same time, which created the distortion in the background. When I edited the pic, I boosted contrast and black depth to add raw energy.
