An accidental street portrait taken at Café Du Monde in New Orleans. While stopping for a quick snapshot of the open-air café, I unwhitingly captured this lovely young lady off to one side. I didn’t even realize she was looking into the camera until I later started processing the shots…what a pleasant surprise. She seems to be enjoying her beignets.

YLC Wednesday at the Square is a free, 12-week spring concert series with food and drink for sale to benefit the New Orleans Young Leadership Council. The band tonight was "Big Sam’s Funky Nation". I guess he just wasn't doing it for these two.
