Although it was still cold and pretty windy, we didn’t see a cloud all day when we recently took Zak for a walk around Clumber Park just to blow the cobwebs off all of us! We only managed to find five of the 12 Snowmen placed around the park and this was the day before they were due to be removed! We also discovered the new doggy paddock. Absolutely brilliant!

A male from a couple of whinchats (Saxicola rubetra) that I met a couple of times during May some years ago.
The male has the bold white eyebrow, dark cheeks, and peachy-orange breast. The female is the duller one, but with a ghosting of the male’s pattern
Now they are wintering in tropical sub-Saharan Africa, and will be back during early May.
