There was (is?) a woman named 'Rita' who apparently was some sort of 1970s swinger. There are also a lot of pictures of her posing in lingerie, always in some modest looking living room or bedroom. I don't know anything else about her, other than she seemed to really embrace the 'free love' movement at the time.
She always looked incredibly happy in her pictures, and had this voluptuous figure with 'big hair'. For some reason I've always been a bit fascinated with her. If you know something about her, pls let me know.

Her birth name was Noelie de Souza Machado and she was born in 1929, in Shanghai. I guess being half Chinese & half Portuguese made her very exotic for the times, and she spent a lot of time in Europe. One of her boyfriends was a bullfighter who later left her for Ava Gardner. (I guess if your lover's going to ditch you for another woman, it's hard to feel bad about yourself if he left you for Ava).
I don't know how she acquired the name 'China', but it sounds like a marketing ploy. Anyway, she was legendary.
