Fighting wood storks at Wakodahatchee Wetlands. I have no clue what went wrong. The guy on top suddenly developed a distinct animosity towards the other one. Actually, I don't know if they are both males. Maybe it is a bad case of sexual harassment. Whatever it is, I've never seen a bird grab another one of the same species by the neck like this. It went on for some time, then the poor victim managed to escape, while the other one kept attacking it all the way from the tree.
