Eyes caught in a loving trance

A lovely flower damply glistens
As I whisper it fragrantly listens
I gently touch it with my fingers
The smile on my face, it just lingers

As it blooms, I see a bud
Will it open ? Do you think it could?
What will it reveal? what will it bring?
Will the love birds start to sing?

I stare at it, my hand covered in dew
Its beauty, stops me feeling blue
