This is the same adult Little Egret I posted a few weeks ago. It was getting quite irate and chasing younger Little Egrets out of its immediate feeding area on the coastal section of the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss. This is the last shot in the same sequence and it shows the Little Egret adopting a lower 'threatening' posture than the previous image.

This adult Little Egret spent most of yesterday morning getting quite irate and chasing younger Little Egrets out of its immediate feeding area on the coastal section of the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss. It was quite amusing to watch as the younger ones really didn't take that much notice of being constantly told off.
