It was actually VERY dark when I took this photo in the late afternoon in November. This photo was taken in the dark. It's a miracle that my simple camera was able to capture this image.

This is the Bread and Breakfast 3749 Ponte Chiodo named after this private bridge in front of it. This is the only bridge remaining in Venice without banisters. The main entrance to the B&B is on Calle de la Racheta where there is a large simple garden. The owner does not allow his guests to use this bridge even though he has exclusive use of it - potentially too dangerous.
The bridge is right by the entrance to former Palazzo Tiepolo whose garden on a small peninsula I had visited the previous evening.
