THANK YOU Victoria

Today is ‘Thank You Day’ for Victorians who have made so many sacrifices as part of the community effort to contain the spread of coronavirus.

While I could write heaps more on this, I won't and will just add my thanks on a day where we do need to pause, give thanks and think about what we have lost, what we have gained and achieved, what we have learnt and to think of those in other countries that still have such a long way to go as they face second and third waves.

I really thought this joey was doing a wonderful impersonation of the famous The Nancy Pelosi clap ;-)

I met my friend at the Park for the first time in months the other day.

We sat down in the sea of purple and closed our eyes and pretended we were in the lavender fields of France rather than within our 25 kms of home radius.

Unfortunately, while native to southern and western Europe, the purple flowers of Paterson's curse are a noxious weed in Australia.

Still, the imagination can do wonderful things to sooth the soul.

I only had my Lensbaby with me and this was the result.
