The rugged coast-line of Phillip Island. The Nobbies and Visitors Centre can be seen in the background. There are so many nooks, crannies and caves along this coast, bought about by the rugged and often cranky sea.

This is a rather spectacular alpine grasshopper found at Mt Baw Baw National Park, known as Colourful Yeelanna (Yeelanna pavonina). I could find very little information about it apart from that it exists in two populations restricted to the regions of Kosciuszko and Mt Baw Baw.

I admit I am feeling very flat at the moment and finding it hard to feel enthusiastic about anything so apologies if I am slow to comment. Thanks everyone for taking the time to view and comment on my images.
