Early morning (yes you heard me right! alarm 5:15) at Murchison Gap Look Out, Strath Creek.

We were hoping for Fog (www.flickr.com/photos/137349496@N06/27555824942/) but none here and not alot of colour. Still, it was a lovely morning and a really beautiful place.

Although there wasn't too much colour in the sky and it was very brief, it did look quite spectacular peeking up from the horizon before it rushed up with a bang and painted light flare over the rest of my images!

Inspired by Chris Cornell's 'Scar on the Sky" from Song Book. He actually sings "We ripped the night out of the arms of the sun".

I still can't listen to him without a deep sense of sadness and a tear.
