I have named this image of the Razorback at Port Campbell after a new acronym I learnt for Fig Jam while away this weekend. I bought some for my dearly beloved whom I left at home while I was out gallivanting around the stunning beaches of Port Campbell with the Famous Flickr Five Plus. I wondered why they were laughing at me for buying it for him.

The acronym does not apply to my photography of course but rather is dedicated to this amazing place and the people I shared this with.

We had an amazing weekend with Pete and Adam from Focalscape Photography Tours. www.focalscapephotographytours.com.au/Tours

Two of the crumbling pillars of the three sisters. The third sister collapsed and tumbled into the sea on September 25th 2009.

These are limestone stacks, formed by erosion: "the harsh and extreme weather conditions from the Southern Ocean gradually eroded the soft limestone to form caves in the cliffs, which then became arches, which in turn collapsed; leaving rock stacks up to 50 metres high".

Flicker x 100 2017 challenge. 20/100 Theme- Bob Dylan songs

"I’m pledging my time
To you
Hopin’ you’ll come through, too"

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde 1966.

The only real colour we were treated to on our recent Photography jaunt to Port Campbell National Park was on the Saturday morning at Razorback. As is often the way, the colour is fleeting but it was quite magnificent.

I got to thinking about all the time we promise to the sunrises and sunsets, trying to get the holy grail of sky, cloud and colour. More often than not, it doesn't happen.

But still we drag ourselves out of bed, pledging our time, hoping the sunrise will come through.

Sometimes you have to put the camera down and just be silent, drink in your surroundings and live for that moment.
