Had a lovely weekend away with my Camera Club, staying across from the beach down near Apollo Bay. The good thing about that is the walk to get a sunrise shot was a 10 minute walk though I still wasn't impressed with the 5:30 am start. Bad weather has followed me everywhere on my last three major photographic expeditions and this weekend was no exception. Just getting over gasro didn't help my grumpiness either.
It was a half- hearted sunrise, though I should be grateful that it rose at all I suppose!
I wasn't very happy with my images and this was I think the best of those I took that morning as it has some elements I was looking for in my composition- but I'm still not convinced.

So, that title is pretty unfunny but the best I could come up with!
Heading toward sunset at Seacroft, near Apollo Bay.
The sunset offered little in the way of colour so I decided to go in tight to try to capture the light that cast a short-lived golden glow onto the seaweed.

Different angle!
I couldn't quite decide which one Iiked best so I'll post this one too. I like the clarity of the centipede in this one.

Sunrise at Apollo Bay. The surface of these rocks reminded me alittle of the moon surface (minus the water :)) and with some flexible thought, the title ties in with the place name. Basically, I was stuck for ideas! Two strange photographers are studying its surface with their camera's.
Funny how sometimes a title just leaps out at you and other times, the space is blank!
