I know I posted a similar image to this last week but this is with a different lens, the vintage 50m Asahi Pentax (thanks to Leon for the recommendation).
Another beautiful lens and I can see I will have alot of fun with them. There isn't alot flowering at the moment but these purple Indigofera flowers are about to open. They are very delicate and beautiful and I really liked the little cluster of two sharing the space in the middle.
This is for all those who have taught me so much about photography along my journey (Sirs and Misses but I couldn't resist the title from the movie I loved so much when I was younger). Very many teachers of the craft who I have met from the Flickr community and many who I get to share in flesh and blood.
Inspiration, techniques, equipment advice and probably most of all encouragement which brings confidence, one of the greatest gifts you can give someone.

Hi everyone, I was sick all last week, hence my absence but feeling alot better now. Have lost abit of spark and taking things slow but I'm sure it will return.
The African daisys in front our garden are flowering profusely at the moment. I wanted to take some photos of them but we have had so much wind lately I was put off. So I decided to go with the wind instead of against it and made some attempts at capturing the movement even though I had a higher shutter speed here I liked this one best. I think this was made with the 50mm Ashai Pentax with a polarising filter-.

This week the theme for Snap Happy Monday was 'shades of green'. It was chosen by GG. Greenstone Girl
Soon the shades of green in the Iris will be outshone by the striking purple of the Iris flower bloom.
But for now, I thought the delicate shades of greens of the flower bud and strappy leaves stole the show.

Whenever the Sherpa looks at these types of images, he stirs me by saying "nice bokeh". Any chance he gets he pulls it out, maybe because it is the only "fancy" photographic lingo he knows.
This is an image of my 'Love In a Mist (Nigella) that I have grown from seed. I am still trying to decide on my 2021X100 but I think it is going to be flower art or just art with my arty lenses.
This was taken with the Asahi Pentax 50 mm. I feel like more experimentation this year is on the cards so hope you stick around for the journey even if it isn't your cup of tea.

Taken with the Vintage Super-Takumar Asahi Pentax 1.4/50 mm, responsible for that round, swirly bokeh.
