Another quick stop at sunrise on my commute down to South Gippsland.
I can't help it. I am bewitched by these powerlines. This lake is one of the few places near home where you get a view of sunrise, or close enough. Maybe it is the contrast of these towering man-made structures over the lake, set against the gentle swirl of the clouds, and the sense of abandonment by the birds that draws me in.
I need to leave home about 15 minutes earlier to really catch that pre-sunrise colour. And I just might (yuk).
I think you will be seeing a few more images from this spot to convey the different moods (whether you like it or not!).
There were no Apps used in the making of this image ;-)

The lure of the sun lighting up the fog trapped low in the grass was too much to pass up on my commute down to South Gippsland for work last week.
A quick dash down some side roads, jumped out of the car and snapped a few images. As soon as I drove out of my suburb, the fog was gone. It added perhaps 10 minutes to my two hour plus journey but I think it was worth it.

I drive past this lake often and always find the electricity tower reflecting in the lake strangely alluring and frighting at the same time.
In the quiet of the morning, you can hear the gentle humming of the electricity, soothing like a nightmarish lullaby.
