I tried the e-m1mk3's hand-held hi-res mode for this. It turns out I'm not stable enough at slower shutter speeds for the 16 shots it collects to make sense to the combining algorithm. Combining that many frames gets rid of some of the high-ISO noise though so ISO 1600 I shot this at is reasonably clean despite the steep curves I applied. It's not a worthless gimmick, I'll try it on something that actually needs hi-res next.
