Am I the only one who is looking forward to the dark, dreary days of winter, AKA stick season? Summer is nice for the longer days, but there’s something about a cold day along the tracks watching trains. Here the Virginian heritage unit is solo with manifest NS 119 as it thunders west over Cooper’s Trestle along the Pokey. A small amount of snow still clings to the ground and trees in the small community on the lower end of the line.
