It'll be a while yet till my High Brown Fritillary obsession kicks in. At the moment I'm at the peak of my Adder obsession ;)))
However , I have been asked to take part in an art project concerning a verbal and singing record of thoughts about the High brown Fritillary with the local community. I have to recite a few lines I think while walking across the common, where they fly.
Separately I've also been nominated for a volunteer award by Butterfly Conservation, which I know nothing about ;) I'l have to contact them as they need photos and details. You never know what lies around the corner in life. It's been a very eventful week with setting up the exhibition, and the open evening and it's success, now a recording that will reside in the National archives, plus a nomination for a volunteer award ;) Life is never dull. A Certain Beauty is by Jock Scott. This wonderful Male High brown Fritillary is what I can't wait to photograph in late May, early June. let's hope there'll be a few as last year there were so few. Cross Fingers.
