This was a very special night. I met up with old friends who I hadn't seen for years!
Andrew and Priya were very close friends of mine back in the 90s and I went to their wedding in 2000. They have been legendary DJs in Hull over the decades doing indie and 80s nights, and not just in Hull - all over the country.
The last tmie I was at their house, their daughter Yasmin was a baby - now she's an amazing emerging musical talent and a gorgeous young woman who is a lovely person too! I really enjoyed meeting her - and her Sister too who wasn't even born last time i was there!

It's so wonderful to rekindle old friendships these days. Before I started transitioning, I just wanted to hide away from the world and I lost touch with so many people, but now I am proud of who I am and it's a pleasure to get back in touch, talk about old times and forge new memories.
All in all, a fantastic evenin and I can't wait to meet up with them again very soon.
