The Forth Rail Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge over the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland, 9 miles (14 kilometres) west of central Edinburgh. It was opened on 4 March 1890 and spans a total length of 8,296 feet (2,528.7 m). View from South Queensferry pier.

Inchcolm Abbey is an Augustinian medieval abbey located on the island of Inchcolm in the Firth of Forth in Scotland.
The Abbey was founded in the 12th century and has the most complete surviving remains of any Scottish monastic house.
