Well, I was never a big fan of Typhoon/Tempest, nor did I plan to make of one for myself, but somehow it just came together. As usual in my case, it started with an idea for a particular part of the plane (this time it was the front section), and it looked so good, that I've decided to give It a try. There are still some structural issues to be solved/optimized, and I still have to design the camouflage - unfortunately, the lack of 2x3 curved slopes in drag green and dark bluish gray might be a problem with the current design of side panels. Other than that, the camo will be pretty boring, as all Tempests looked the same, the only variants I have to consider are the color of the propeller (white/yellow/red/black), and whether I make it with or without invasion stripes. The emergence of my Tempest likely means that my finished Bf 109F-4 will have to wait a few additional weeks for a photoshoot, as I will probably just make one session for both of them.
