The last train of the day came in the form of Train number 256 Rakhiv - Kyiv. With the sun already set and our group back near the guesthouse I thought one last photo in the dying light just for record purposes. However I was quite happy with the results, helped by smoke gently flowing across the foothills.

Lazeshchyna is a great place to stay with an almost horseshoe curve going around the whole village.

Strzelce Leśne is a tiny village deep in a forest and a nearby bridge over the railway gives a good vantage point for passing trains. On a rather gloomy afternoon ET22-939 headed north with a loaded coal train, presumably for Gdansk or Gydnia.

A classic location for a classic loco. These EP07's aren't as common as they used to be with other classes such as the EU160 becoming more common so I was glad to see a few during my time in Poland.
Here EP07 1029 leads a 5 coach rake south working IC 85108 " STAŃCZYK" from Szczecin Główny to Olsztyn Główny.
